My background includes the meadows of Moldova, the streets of Moscow, and the hills of Tennessee. I am now a trained and devoted photographer interested in an array of subjects as wide as my background, and beyond. I particularly enjoy taking a second and third look at what's right in front of us. What we often see as ordinary is really rich with depth, color, and surprise, and that's what I like to present to my viewer. 

​On the professional side, I was honored to be awarded two ADDYs, and that is only the beginning. When I work, I step back and let my subject tell a story. When I photograph, it's not about me. It's so much more about you and your story. I'm the interpreter behind the camera.
